I've had a run of bad luck, in which the only decent imaging days have been days with evening meetings. This is a simple, prime-focus photo from two months ago.
My husband and I went to an open house tonight at the brand new observatory at my university. There was a slideshow cycling through images that had been taken by one or the other of the two telescopes. They were quite spectacular in my opinion.
It occurs to me now that you might want to know something about the telescopes, and I'm afraid I didn't ask for those details. But my husband will know. I'll ask him when he gets home. And I'm going to see if I can get permission to post one or two of the images on my blog.
